Matthias worked from 1993 to 2000 at Paribas, first as a quantitative research analyst, then as an exotic options and structured products trader. In 1998 he took responsibility for the Equity Derivatives exotics trading desk in London. After Paribas, he spent 8 years at Bear Stearns in London where he set up and headed the Fund Derivatives business until 2008. Matthias founded Clear Alpha in April 2010.

Matthias holds an French engineer diploma.
